Things went well with Flora yesterday, so I’m going for another favorite today from the Estonian neighbourhood: Finland. This pick is for the Danes, but Tipico offers 2,25 for foreigners like my self 🙂

Myllypuro is the worst team in Finlands 3rd tier, Kakkonen. The team is on an 11-game winless streak with only two points accumulated in this period. The defense is absolutely horrible with at least three goals conceded in nine of the last 10 games.

The squad is extremely thin, and Myllypuru was only able to field 14 players in total for the last match against leaders Klubi with one of the substitutes being junior player Alexander Hypponen with absolutely no senior experience. Several of the players have departed during august, leaving today’s guests down to the bare bones.

Myllypuro have lost the last two games with a combined score of 0-8 – and yes, despite the defeats coming against top2 teams Kultura and Klubi, they also suffered defeats of 0-3 and 1-3 against Kiffen and JIPPO – teams being of pretty much the same strength of today’s opponent: Lahti Akatemia.

As the name indicates, today’s hosts are the youth/reserve team of Veikkaus Liga outfit FC Lahti. Several of the players trains with the A-team on a daily basis – a Lahti-team with the best defense in Finland conceding just 16 times in 22 games.

Form has been rising steadily for Lahti Akatemia with three draws in a row – one of these coming away against the same Klubi-team that took out Myllupuro 4-0 on Myllypuros home ground.

The first two meetings this season have seen Lahti completely superior, winning 6-1 away and 5-1 at home. I really like the price on a new disaster for Myllypuro.
